Petite Performa

The designs of Paragon and Revelation gave us an opportunity to also design an exciting new bookshelf model. The SEAS bass/mid and Morel Supreme 110 high frequency drivers are well suited to a compact ported design and have already proven to work flawlessly together.

Our goal was to perfect the balance and sonic accuracy of this modest size model named Petite Performa and we have been successful.

The cabinets have the 'traditional Image' appearance but this model boasts something unique. A special 'mass-loading' damping material is mechanically adhered on to the internal cabinet panels so that no cabinet energy adds to the tonal accuracy of these exceptional drivers. A specific amount of NZ wool is added within the enclosure for acoustic damping.

With the addition of hardwired audiophile grade crossover components, Petite Performa is arguably one of the best and most efficient bookshelf speakers available, deserving of high quality electronics.

The front ported design allows for placement near a rear wall when required but for best results we recommend that they be placed on rigid high mass stands and positioned away from walls and furnishings. This will ensure a well-spread soundstage and realistic depth of field.
